Office Administrator (Part-time role, 20 hours per week)

We are looking for a part time (20 hours a week) highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our growing firm. This is a role for someone who takes pride in being the backbone of a busy office environment and is keen to contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced team. As an Office Administrator, you will ensure the smooth running of the office and provide administrative support to the wider team. You will act as a central point of contact for internal and external communications, manage office supplies and systems, and help create a professional and welcoming environment for clients and colleagues alike. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, a can-do attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional service across all areas of administration and office coordination.

Responsibilities

·       Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a clean, efficient, and well-organised working environment.

·       Manage incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries with professionalism and warmth.

·       Coordinate diaries, meetings, and appointments, including preparing meeting rooms and materials.

·       Assist in maintaining records, filing systems, and databases in line with compliance and data protection standards.

·       Order and manage office supplies and liaise with suppliers and contractors as needed.

·       Support the wider team with document preparation, printing, and general administrative tasks.

·       Assist in the organisation of company events and staff onboarding activities.

·       Champion a positive office culture and help ensure smooth internal communication.

Requirements

·       Previous experience in an administrative or office coordination role.

·       Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.

·       A friendly and professional manner, with great communication skills.

·       Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other workplace systems.

·       A proactive and reliable approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Familiarity with working in a confidential and regulated environment is desirable.

·       A positive attitude and eagerness to support colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
