Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of diverse clients, focusing on high-quality service delivery and relationship building.
  • Support strategic initiatives by streamlining processes and leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the development of the accounting team, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise and implement robust financial controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other offices and departments to drive forward Reckon’s global strategy.
  • Contribute to business development by expanding existing client relationships and building new networks.
  • Participate in the promotion and implementation of Reckon’s services across the client base.

Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience working across a range of business sectors.
  • A track record of team leadership and people development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • A commercial mindset with a passion for contributing to business growth.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-evolving, technology-driven environment.
  • A proactive and energetic approach to building client relationships and internal culture.

Benefits

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Discretionary performance-linked bonus scheme.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
  • Health insurance.
  • Professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Regular social events and an annual team celebration.
  • On-goings support for personal wellbeing and a commitment to a healthy work-life balance.
  • The opportunity to play a key leadership role within an innovative and inclusive financial services firm.
